This morning (April 1st 2011) we held a press conference at the Father Dowd long term care residence.
The purpose was to highlight a project where we have had a number of Bread Makers and the ingredients donated, to make the bread in all four of our long term care facilities.
The objective is always to make the residences as “home-Like” as possible and our committee decided that fresh baked bread, every day, would be one small effort. The residents will now be waking up to a nice fresh bread aroma.
The project seemed well received by the residents; staff and the media on hand.
